Social commitment – a compassionate viewpoint about our own workers

Corporate social responsibility for us is a much more individualistic notion. Instead of engaging ourselves in ‘weekend crash courses of social work ’, we take care of our own workers and their families. Thus developing a bond of care and compassion between us…

To take good care of their siblings, we have initiated creches at our sites. Medical checkups and vaccinations drives are executed quite regularly. In collaboration with a NGO we run a school onsite for the young children. Ms. Manisha Chaudhari, who is actually the face of social commitment for Atul Enterprises, ensures admission in municipal schools for the kids showing spark in learning academics. In one of our upcoming projects, we have developed a mini town for some of our senior workers and awarded them the ‘pakka homes ’.

These workers are with us for years together, many of them continuing the valued association in second generations too! Empowering this section of society, which is in few thousands, is much more useful contribution from our side, we believe.
